Pension Orion and chalets Alpina 1 and Alpina 2 are located inside the beautiful High Tatras nature in the foothill of the granit mountain Lomnický peak, the second highest mountain of the High Tatras next to Gerlach. The small river Studený potok (Cool Creek), beautiful gill with stony and gravelly river-bed, which springs in the Cold Valley in the heart of High Tatras, flows just behind the garden of the pension Orion, situated 4 km away from Tatranská Lomnica. The chalets Alpina 1 and Alpina 2 are located in the forest in the region of hotels in Stará Lesná, only 2 km away from Tatranská Lomnica.
The alpine environment with peerless biota can be reached from our accommodation facilities straightaway. The stay in our pension and chalets is suitable not only for relaxation and recreation, but also as a cheeper alternative of your accommodation during participation in the international scientific meetings organized in the Congress Center Academia, located only 300 m from the chalets Alpina 1 and 2. Our pension and chalets are perfect place for stays of skiers, cyklotourists, skialpininsts and other visitors of High Tatras during their trips to the mountains from Tatranská Lomnica and Starý Smokovec, but also during their visits of thermal resorts in Vrbov (12 km) and Aquacity Poprad (14 km).
